We’re heading to the grand finale! Khamoro wraps up today with a spectacular gala concert at SaSaZu

The highlight of the festival week! The final gala concert in one of the biggest clubs in Prague will feature performances by all the bands that have taken the stage over the past two days at the traditional Romani music concerts at La Fabrika.

THE BEST OF ROMANI MUSIC IN ONE PLACEa

At the closing gala concert, you can look forward to Czech performers Ivan Herák and Erika Nováková, Greek singer Kostas Pavlidis, the passionate Ballet Flamenco Sergio González from Spain, the Hungarian Vlax group Karavan Familia, Russian ensemble Diamant Tzigane, and the Serbian brass band Erkam Mamutovic Orkestar. They will all join together for a symbolic finale – singing the international Romani anthem Gelem, Gelem. The show starts at 8:00 PM! And it’s going to be an unforgettable ride!

SPEAK OUT LOUD!

Change often begins by breaking the silence. This year, the Khamoro World Roma Festival is opening up a taboo topic – one that isn’t easy to talk about, but must be talked about. Loud and clear! An afternoon mini-conference will present the first results of a unique research project focused on domestic violence against Romani women. The research was conducted by our organization, Slovo 21, as part of a project aimed at breaking the silence and encouraging women to speak about their experiences. The mini-conference starts at 2:00 PM at Hotel Olšanka.

WE’RE ALREADY PREPARING FOR THE NEXT EDITION

This year, we celebrated the 27th edition of Khamoro together. A week full of concerts, exhibitions, discussions, and community gatherings showed how strong, vibrant, and diverse Romani culture is. And most importantly – that we can all come together, regardless of our differences. That it is possible. Thank you for being with us – at the concerts, in the streets, and in your hearts. See you tonight at SaSaZu! Come join us in ending Khamoro 2025 the way it should be ended: with dance, music, and shared joy.

The event is held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Mgr. Martin Baxa, and the Government Commissioner for Roma Minority Affairs, Mgr. Lucie Fuková.
