Tessie, Thomas and Ritmo Gitano – Khamoro Kicks Off Tonight with a Party at Výstaviště!
It’s here! The Khamoro Party at Výstaviště kicks off the 27th edition of Khamoro – the world’s largest Roma festival – tonight. From 7:30 p.m., you can look forward to live music that gets the audience up and dancing. Come and listen to the sweetheart of the young generation, Thomas, the dance rhythms of Ritmo Gitano, and the angelic voice of singer Tessie.

Khamoro Returns to Prague. And It Shines for Everyone!
Authentic flamenco, energetic Vlax čapáš dances, Balkan brass music – but also theatre, film and research that breaks the silence. Khamoro is not just a festival – it’s a celebration of Romani culture in all its forms, strength, and diversity. For the 27th time, it will light up Prague with music, art, and the courage to speak about issues that are too often left unspoken.
SAID ABOUT US
Even last year, the Khamoro festival was a major event. For this year’s edition of the Roma festival Khamoro 2000, I wish that it marks the beginning of a long tradition of “sunshine” festivals that bring us and the Roma community together through enjoyable experiences – something greatly needed in our coexistence.
