The professional workshop “Roma culture in various social contexts“ took place within the World Roma festival Khamoro. There’s an electronic collection with the contributions of each expert to the workshop in English available. Download the collection in PDF here.
On February 6th, 8 pm, tones of classical and jazz Romani music were heard in Slovanský dům during the Black’n’White World musical project. The concert was organized by Slovo 21, z.s. and Studio Production Saga with the support of grants from Icelands, Lichtenstein and Norway, as a closing event of the World Roma Festival Khamoro 2015.
Come to the Slovak National House on Saturday the 6th of February 2016 for a concert of classical, jazz and Romani music. Performing will be Pavlína Matiová and the opera singers Miro Bartoš and Bohunka Bartošová-Sommerová. During the evening, certificates will be presented to the successful alumni of the Barvalipe project.

We hope to bring back the moments of the great traditional Romani music concerts, guitar workshops, children’s day and the festival closing gala concert in SaSaZu.
On Friday 28th August the partner Romani music festival Yagori starts in Oslo (Norway). Also this year, the Yagori Gypsy Music Festival introduces an interesting line-up. Well known and familiar bands will perform – for instance KAL from Serbia. They started playing in 2006 and they are so distinctive that the Western music critics have invented a new label for their style – Rock’n’Roma.
